I’m excited to announce that Meadow was chosen as one of only fifty finalists in the Fuzzy Nation Photo Contest.
The grand prize is $10,000.00 - all of which goes to the rescue group we adopted her from – the Vizsla Club of Central New England.
Pretty Awesome, huh?
Imagine how many other needy Vizslas they can help with all that money...
Fuzzy Nation chose Meadow's photo for the final round, but now it’s up to Facebook fans to pick the winners. If you and any of your dog loving friends are Facebook users, we’d sure love some votes.
You can vote 1 X PER DAY starting Monday August 8th through August 21st (that’s 14 votes per person if you’re willing.) Just visit the contest HERE, and look for the photo of Meadow amongst the finalists - she's easy to spot: She's the ONLY Vizsla in the running, (although the photo's in black and white, so don't look for that red Vizsla coat), AND the names of the dogs appear in alphabetical order.
Once you find Miss Meadow, give her your vote. Then, if you wouldn't mind, please go back the next day and do the same for each day of the two week contest. Another big bonus would be if you ask all of your dog loving friends to do the same, and maybe they can ask some of their friends too...
Meadow and the Vizsla Club of Central New England would sure appreciate your daily votes. And your friends. And their friends. And their friend’s friends…
It's a pretty easy way to earn money for a good cause - just with a click of your mouse. (I even rejoined Facebook for this - just so I could vote and ask my friends to)
Thanks for supporting Vizsla Rescue!
P.S. A few people have saying they aren't sure how to vote. You do need to "like" the page first, so that might be it. It's not the photo button on the left of the contest page. If you scroll down on the contest page a little, past where it lists the prizes, there is a red button that says "See the list of finalists and vote," after clicking that, you should be able to see the finalists, including Meadow's photo. Click on her photo, scroll down to the bottom of that page, and right after Meadow's story there will be a red button that says to Vote.
Hope that helps anyone that is having an issue. Don't be afraid to ask, as every vote counts.
Also, for anyone who does not know Meadow's story, here is the condensed version:
