So, Rocco (AKA Rusty) spent the night, and he was just such a sweet dog, I know his new family is going to love him. He responded better to Rusty than to Rocco, so that is what we ended up calling him. We kept him crated for a while until all of the dogs settled, and then later, he hung out on mats with the others while we watched television, and then it was off to bed, because he had a big day ahead.
The following morning we were on the road by 7:15, and he remained quiet throughout the majority of the drive, his eyes a little wide, wondering where he was going. I told him, "Someone chose you, out of all those Labs online, and you're going to your forever home!" What a sweet little guy - it was a pleasure to get to know him, and I'm sure his new family is absolutely going to fall in love with him! Here are a few photos from his brief visit:

I guess I'm going to have to wait and see...might as well get comfortable.
