A Blog worth Visiting

November 5, 2011 09:31 by Donna

Today I contributed A Humble Ramble over at a great blog called Rescued Insanity. The author of this blog, Kristine, took a well deserved week off from blogging after writing something every weekday for a year straight. What dedication! Sometimes, I struggle to find something to say just one day a week. And, so that her blog wouldn't be eerily silent for the first time in a year, Kristine asked several other writers to contribute guest posts in her place. (Wish I had thought of that myself when I took off on vacation a few weeks ago!)

As it turned out, all of the bloggers she picked churned out really great pieces, and since many of the writers were unfamiliar to me, I now have several great new blogs to follow. I hope you'll wander over there and check out the past week's worth of guest posts, as well as reading Kristine's stuff too - it's definitely worth your time.

I have been following this blog for several months now, and Kristine never fails to write something interesting about her rescued dog and future agility star - Shiva. Kristine weaves a touch of humor into nearly every post, and oftentimes, I learn something too. Plus, like this week, she frequently highlights work from other interesting bloggers that I hadn't been aware of before. So without further rambling, I'm going to cut this post short so you can go check out Rescued Insanity for yourself. Have fun!

Nice! I have fallen so far behind my blog reading (power outages in the northeast, thank you Mother Nature) that I didn't even know Kristine was on vacation.  Now I have another reason to look forward to visiting her blog - to check out your post and see who else she got to sub for her while on vacation.  Smile

Yes, much more. Additionally, while his just falls to the floor, her undercoat is very thick, so she is always clumping - which makes her a nightmare to groom. I can brush her for an hour and she'll still appear as if she hasn't been brushed in weeks.
